The Cowboys have struggled to live up to expectations so far this season but showed great character to beat Sydney Roosters on their own deck.

Now they need to back it up against the Warriors and can be backed at 1.80 to make the top eight this season.

Meanwhile, the Titans and Rabbitohs, who are both at the wrong end of the ladder, go head-to-head on the Gold Coast.

Both sides picked up rare and morale-boosting wins in their last games and will be out to build on the two points.

The Titans and Roosters are both 4.00 to suffer most losses this season.

Titans on a roll

The Titans have found a bit of form when winning two of their last three games, and have a great chance to make further progress on home soil.

Both wins have been tight, beating the Cowboys and Broncos by two points, and they can be backed at 7.50 to beat to Souths by 1-5 points.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira has been key for the Titans when scoring eight tries in his last five NRL games.

The winger can be backed at 6.50 to grab the first try of the game.

The Rabbitohs have a great record against the Titans when winning each of the last eight meetings.

They also enjoy playing at Cbus Super Stadium, with their last defeat at the venue coming way back in 2009.

Souths picked up just their second win of the season against Parramatta Eels in their last game and can be backed at 3.60 to beat the Titans by 1-12 points.

Cowboys look to kick on

. What: North Queensland Cowboys v New Zealand Warriors
. Where: Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville
. When: 17:30 (AEST), Saturday 8th June 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: North Queensland Cowboys 1.62, New Zealand Warriors 2.30

A depleted Cowboys side showed tremendous spirit and character to beat the Roosters by two points in Round 12 and will be hoping to kick on.

The Cowboys have won their last three games on the bounce, scoring 88 points in the process, and will also be boosted by the return of their State of Origin stars.

Todd Payten will be hoping that some, if not all, will be able to back-up Wednesday night's game and go again on Saturday.

Jeremiah Nanai is one such player, who starred in Queensland's win, and has scored five tries in his last three games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Kyle Feldt remains the biggest threat though and is 7.00 to score the first try of the game.

The Warriors have also won their last two, beating the Panthers by two points, and the Dolphins by four.

They can be backed at 7.00 to win by 1-5 points.
