This is an open race and although I think Master Riley could win this I am against him at the price. Some of these could improve rapidly getting to 1300m. He is under the odds against other lightly raced horses.
Newcastle: Race 8; #8 Last Command
Thought this race looked very even on paper. Have race favourite LAST COMMAND as one to take on based on his current price. He resumes here today, competed at Group level towards the back of his prep, so does look to have talent. But looking at his trials, I think there is improvement to come from him yet and will appreciate this run. He does look one to follow after this race. But may need the run.
Bendigo: Race 1; #11 Reasonable Point
Echelon strikes me as an unassuming type from the jumpouts, looks a small thing but has plenty of speed and appears a rightful favourite. I couldn't get near Reasonable Point at the price, was basic at her first preparation and the map is poor.
