THOROUGHBREDS

Randwick: Race 3; #6 Inhibitions

Has lost to BRIASA convincingly before and not likely to change the result in this race.

Randwick: Race 5; #5 Groundrush

It's a small field but looks a very open race for mine here with any of the 7 runners looking a genuine chance. I'm not huge on the race map for GROUNDRUSH who looks as if he will be out the back of this field. The small field may play against him as there doesn't appear to be a great deal of tempo in the race outside of STONECOAT. Happy to be against him at his current near even money price.

Belmont: Race 6; #2 Bopping Blue

Talented but has issues. Resumes for new camp without a trial and the bars go on. Could win or run last, neither would surprise.

Doomben: Race 5; #9. Sultry Siren

Caught wide last start and although gets weight relief and a gear change today with the nose roll coming off I am still concerned about the map for this horse from barrier 10 and think she will be caught wide again.

GREYHOUNDS

The Meadows: Race 3; #1 I'm Honey

He's Hell Bent holds the key to the Lay of I'm Honey being successful. He needs to begin speedily and cut off I'm Honey which could see her being jammed back on the rails whilst the wide brigade get the chance to sail across and find forward positions.

The Meadows: Race 6; #7 Aston Shekel

Aston Shekel has done nothing wrong in his career so far scoring two great wins. However he has had two Box 1s with very friendly maps and now goes to Box 7 and could find things a lot more difficult. This could allow Paw Phelps a great cart across which is vital in getting the Lay correct.
