Where the big money was won and lost with TAB Sportsbet.

MOONEE VALLEY

Amah Rock, the first emergency, was sensationally backed to take out the McKenzie Stakes and didn't disappoint his backers.

As much as $26 was on offer with TAB Sportsbet but after some smart money it tumbled throughout betting to go off at $7 on Fixed Odds markets.

Impressive winner Kulgrinda was one of the best backed runners of the day. Initially $4 was offered before the scratchings of Warm Love and Johnnydrama and she eventually started at $1.75 after some heavy support.

Bets on Kulgrinda through TAB Sportsbet included $2000 @ $2.05, $9000 @ $2.10, $8000 @ $2.00, $3000 @ $1.90, $16,000 @ $1.90, $10,000 @ $1.85 twice and $7000 @ $1.75.

The John Thompson-trained Kneeling landed some good money for punters when saluting in the Crockett Stakes.

Opening at $15 after Wednesday acceptances with TAB Sportsbet, Kneeling started at $5 with some good bets getting the money when she nailed the heavily supported favourite Hallowell Belle.

Several runners were heavily backed in the early races with punters feeling the heat after each of them failed to salute.

Irish Dream was the first to go down when she contested race 3. Irish Dream opened at $6.00 on TAB Sportsbet before she was backed into $2.70 favouritism but after a tough trip, she couldn't hold out the fast-finishing Booklet, a drifter in betting from $8.50 out to $13.

A race later, Savaging was backed off the map but finished unplaced. After opening at $5.50, heavy support saw Savaging eventually start at $3.00 after some sizable bets placed on the Danny O'Brien-trained galloper.

Bets on Savaging included $3000 @ $3.30, $4000 @ $3.10, $4000 @ $3.00, $4500 @ $2.90, $5000 @ $2.80 and $3000 @ $2.80

WARWICK FARM

Warwick Stakes winner Pinwheel was well backed to take out the feature event for Peter Snowden and Kerrin McEvoy.

Opening at $4.40, the six-year-old had good support to start at $3.20 and won impressively over Ilovethiscity and Startsmeup.

Some of the bets on the winner were $6000 @ $3.50, $4000 @ $3.30 and $2000 @ $3.20

Silver Shadow Stakes winner Pane In The Glass firmed from $4.60 to $3.60 and got the decision in a thrilling finish. Favourite for the race was Elite Falls but it drifted for the majority of betting and finished out of the money.

Bets on the winner included $3000 @ $3.80 and $2000 @ $3.50.

GOLDEN ROSE BETTING

The Golden Rose market at TAB Sportsbet changed slightly after today's racing.

Impressive Up And Coming Stakes winner Manawanui is now into the market despite not being nominated for the race.

He is at $8 while Smart Missile still remains at the head of betting at $4.00.

Pane In The Glass remained steady in Golden Rose betting at $15 after her first-up win.

The Golden Rose will be run at Rosehill on September 10.
