The fillies take centre stage at Doomben on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Queensland Oaks.

The 2017 renewal is shaping as an open contest although Chris Waller does possess seven of the 16 fillies in the main field including the favourite Egg Tart.
The filly is chasing a fifth win from as many runs this campaign after taking out the Schweppes Oaks at Morphettville last month.
She beat Kenedna on that occasion and the pair will clash again on Saturday with Kenedna second favourite at $4.40.
The Chris Waller-trained duo of Dawn Wall and Oklahoma Girl round out the single figure chances, quoted at $8.00 and $9.00 respectively.
The eight race card at Doomben on Saturday is comprised entirely of stakes races.
The first of the Group races is the P J O’Shea Stakes (2200m).
Nick Olive’s honest mare Single Gaze holds favouritism at $3.00 ahead of the other proven class runner in the event, Preferment ($3.60).
A strong sprint field has been assembled for the other Group race of the day, Moreton Cup (1200m).
The Virginian shares favouritism ($6.00) in the open race alongside Sydney-based sprinters Deploy and Attention who each line up on Saturday following strong efforts on resuming.
Queensland Oaks Day finishes with a capacity field of fillies and mares in the Helen Coughlan Stakes (1200m).
The Listed event sees up and coming Sydney-based mare Bonny O’Reilly make her Queensland debut having commenced her campaign with consecutive successes.
Bonny O’Reilly is favourite for the event at $3.80 and spearheads a strong interstate contingent of mares including Nancy $6.00, Danish Twist ($9.00), Maternal ($9.00) and Kinshachi ($10.00).
The Rob Heathcote-trained Bidii Babe is considered the best of the local runners at $12.00) off her last start win in the Bright Shadow a fortnight ago.
