ROSEHILL December 7

Best Bets

RACE 1 (2) PRIVATE HARRY: Has emerged as an exciting prospect with big provincial wins at his first two starts over 900m and 1100m that have him on the path to some rich targets. After his debut win at Newcastle by 3.5 lengths he blew them away with electric acceleration to win as he liked by seven lengths in fast time at Hawkesbury. A perfect draw gives him every chance to go on with it.

RACE 4 (8) GENTILESCHI: Talented mare has been fitted for this with two solid efforts in shorter races where she has taken the eye with strong work late after her riders adopted negative tactics from wide gates. Showed good staying potential last season and should relish getting to this trip third up on a good surface.

RACE 8 (7) I'MINTOWIN: Gave his rivals no chance when he led from start to finish under 62kg for an impressive first-up win over 1400m at Kembla Grange on November 23. Jumps in class but that is offset by a handy drop in weight to 56.5kg and with added fitness he is sure to take running down again as he maps to get control without much pressure from his wide gate.

Why They Can Win….

RACE 2: (3) MISS HADES - Honest mare brought to her peak by recent placings. Weighted to win with the claim.

RACE 3: (14) IN SUMMER - Progressive mare will be suited by this trip. Rates well with her weight advantage.

RACE 5: (3) FIDDLERS GREEN - Strong first-up winner at Hawkesbury. Will run this right out.

RACE 6: (1) BULLETS HIGH - Gets to 2000m with Rawiller back in the saddle. This is his chance.

RACE 7: (10) LULUMON - Good value off her encouraging effort when resuming. Kept improving through her last prep.

RACE 9: (7) INHIBITIONS – Placed in strong form races since resuming. Conditions suit with important addition of blinkers.

RACE 10: (5) MIDNIGHT OPAL: Bank on his Kembla Grange second to I'mintowin to be the right form. Rates to win off that effort.

TRIAL POINTERS

RANDWICK November 26: AUGUST BLOOM has won only once in seven starts but her two recent trials have her set to quickly improve on that record. Followed up her strong resuming trial at Rosehill with an impressive win in her open heat over 1045m (62.76; 34.50), working home under a hold for a dominant win by 1.5 lengths. Another glowing trial win by sharp runner MANUSCRIPT who is set to progress quickly from his recent maiden win at Wyong. Did it easily to win the fastest 740m heat (43.54; 32.82) with plenty in reserve and will be well placed in any suitable 3YO event over a short course. Godolphin 2YO CHARKA impressed with a sharp win in a 740m heat (44.68; 34.08). Stablemate PARFUMIER also took the eye.

WYONG November 26: THE PACIFIC looked good posting an easy win in a fast maiden heat (49.59; 33.94).

WARWICK FARM November 19: Maiden heat winners with good prospects include O'INVINCIBLE and SAFRANO.

ROSEHILL November 14: The previously noted PAPARACHA made a good impression, posting the fastest time in the 900m heats (53.78; 33.77). He extended easily for a dominant 1.5 lengths win.

WARWICK FARM October 15: Maidens who handled the heavy conditions confidently in their heats included PAPARACHA.
