RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 1 (4) I AM ZELADY: Debuted with an excellent Canterbury win in October then beat herself second time out over 1300m at Rosehill when she missed the start by two lengths and raced awkwardly when put under pressure, resulting in her being relegated to third after being second across the line. A month between runs has her nice and fresh for this shorter trip and a trial win in soft ground before her debut gives confidence that she will handle the going.

RACE 6 (10) MULTILATERAL: Wyong Cup winner showed he was set for another good campaign when he resumed with eye catching in the Festival Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill, working home with plenty in hand from last to be beaten only 2.5 lengths. That is the key form race for the Villiers and there is plenty to like about his chances at good odds as he is a second up winner, goes well at Randwick and can handle soft ground.

RACE 7 (6) MINIATURE: Flies when fresh and has been fitted for her return with two impressive trial placings. She’s a winner in the wet and is ideally placed in this company first-up on her excellent form in Sydney and Brisbane last season when she was placed at level weights in classy Group races against the likes of Politeness, Cosmic Endeavour and Srikandi. Plenty of speed in this field should see her finish hard late.
