Early Mail and Blackbook File For January 10

3 minute read

Early mail, best exotics and Blackbook File for Randwick on January 10.

Inside Job Picture: Racing and Sports

RACE 2 (8) MATERNAL: The depth of quality in the Godolphin two-year-old team seems endless and this filly looks to be another well above average prospect going on her impressive trial win at Warwick Farm on December 22. This daughter of Street Cry was under a big hold throughout the trial but her ability was obvious as she ran through the line strongly with plenty in hand. Expect her to test this field.

RACE 3 (1) INZ 'N’OUT: Should prove hard to run down with expected improvement from his first-up second over 1200m at Canterbury when he was forced to work in the lead under a big weight (59kg), leaving him open to the fitter Music Magnate to get him late. It was significant that he hadn’t trialled leading into that race and with 2kg less over this shorter trip of 1150m he is well placed to add to an impressive record that boasts a win at his only Randwick start.

RACE 7 (7) INSIDE JOB: Has been excellent in three starts since resuming when wide runs and big weights have cost him dearly against the likes of Religify, Shiraz and Craftiness. He had 59.5kg and was five and six wide the entire trip at his last start when he fought game to the line for third behind the classy Craftiness at Rosehill on December 20 and should really get his chance in this event dropping sharply in weight to only 52kg after the claim. Surely he will get better run from a favourable draw this time.
