All American handed sixth stakes winner
The Daniel Morton-trained Kallaroo (3 g ex Kamballie by Blackfriars) ran out a ready winner of the Fairetha Stakes (Listed, 1400m) at Ascot on Saturday and in the process saw Geisel Park Stud-based stallion All American’s (Red Ransom) stakes haul swell to six.
The three-year-old gelding stayed on strongly to beat Western Empire (Iffraaj) by a nose, while First Law (Dalghar) was another neck away in third.
Kallaroo is a daughter of stakes-placed Kamballie (Blackfriars), who is herself a half-sister to fellow stakes-placed Yaloginda (Trade Fair).
Further afield this is the same family as Group 3 winner Rezone (Electronic Zone), Listed winning-duo Dayon (Success Express) and Las Ramblas (Toreador).
All American’s progeny is headed by Group 1-winning duo Yankee Rose and Dark Dream and he stands for a fee of $6,600 (inc GST).
