Mungrup Stud-based sire I’m All The Talk (Stratum) was represented by his second stakes winner when All Banter (3 f ex Bantry Bay by Tale Of The Cat) won the W J Adams Stakes (Listed, 1000m) at Caulfield on Australia Day.

The filly scored by the most narrow of margins over five-year-old mare Causeway Girl (Shamus Award) with Riding The Wave (Malibu Moon) third.

The Richard and Chantelle Jolly-trained filly could now be aimed at the Oakleigh Plate (Gr 1, 1100m).

"Very happy with that win and she's now a stakes winning filly. Will definitely look at the Oakleigh Plate with her,” Richard Jolly said.

All Banter was having the sixth start of her career and is now unbeaten in three starts, all over 1000 metres, this preparation.

"First time she's been up to that grade. They're a lot more seasoned and hardened campaigners than she is,” winning jockey Craig Williams said.

“She's lightly raced, been really well managed, and she's still on the way up with regard to she'll only derive a fitness edge with another preparation and experience. It's a really exciting time for her.

"She's a really quick girl and she's been able to win at Moonee Valley, she's been able to win at Caulfield. It shows her versatility but she is purely a short-course horse and I'm sure the training partnership will place her really well like they have for her whole career."

Bought by Richard and Chantelle Jolly for $30,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale from the draft of Mungrup Stud, All Banter is one of six winners and the only stakes winner out of Group 3 winning mare Bantry Bay (Tale Of The Cat).

I’m All The Talk stood for a fee of $7,700 (inc GST) in 2020 and has five lots catalogued for the upcoming Perth Yearling Sale.
