Dynamic Jewel (2 f ex Anniversary Jewel by Danroad) broke her maiden over 850 metres on Saturday and in doing so became the tenth first crop winner for the Kitchwin Hills-based sire Sooboog (Snitzel).

Having her fourth career start, Dynamic Jewel scored a half-length victory over four-year-old mare Stryking Maid (Stryker), with Twogoboom (Spirit Of Boom) back in third.

Sooboog finished sixth in the leading first season sires table in Australia by winners behind Capitalist (Written Tycoon) (20), Star Turn (Star Witness) (19), Winning Rupert (Written Tycoon) (12), Flying Artie (Artie Schiller) (10) and Astern (Medaglia d'Oro) (10).

He will stand his fifth season at stud this year for an unchanged fee of $13,200 (inc GST) after covering 93 mares in 2019 and 98 mares last season.
