Spirit Of Boom and Encryption to stand at Queensland farm
Eureka Stud will stand Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo) and Encryption (Lonhro) in 2022. Spirit Of Boom covered 178 mares in 2021 and his fee remains at $33,000 (inc GST) for a second consecutive year.
It was announced earlier this week that Spirit Of Boom's Group 1 winning son Jonker will cover his first book of mares at Aquis Farm this year. He is one of 16 stakes winners by the son of Sequalo (Rustic Amber) that include Group 2 winner Prince Of Boom and Group 3 winners Boomsara and Spirits Aubeer.
Encryption meanwhile will stand his fourth consecutive year at a fee of $13,200 (inc GST). The son of Lonhro (Octagonal) covered 120 mares in 2021 and his first crop have been well received at the yearling sales this year, selling for an average of 15 times his service fee.
