I Am Invincible etched his name alongside some of the legends of the breeding barn with a second-straight win in the Australian Champion Sire award.

Yarraman Park were on Monday night free to officially celebrate another title for their star resident, who finished the 2022/23 season with 338 wins from 202 winners and total progeny prizemoney of $23,405,968.

That was almost $4 million more than his sons and daughters won in Australia the previous season, helping him join Snitzel (four wins), Redoute's Choice (three), Fastnet Rock (two) and Encosta De Lago (two) as multiple winners of the award in the post-Danehill era.

Just like last year, So You Think ($18,955,773) finished in second spot with the Coolmore stallion just clear of I Wish I Win's sire Savabeel ($18,481,108), while Snitzel ($18,137,195) was the other sire to amass more than $18m in Australian earnings.

Zoustar finished runner-up in both the individual winners (186) and total wins (291) categories, while Written Tycoon was third in both (163 winners for 259 wins).

No runner contributed more heavily to I Am Invincible's win than In Secret, the Coolmore Stud Stakes and Newmarket Handicap winner, who banked $2,723,125 for the season.

The James Cummings-trained filly earned a 120 Timeform figure in those two Group 1 wins, ranking her second on the list of I Am Invincible's highest-rating performers for the season behind Imperatriz who went 124 to win the William Reid Stakes.

That Kiwi mare was also I Am Invincible's second highest earner on Australian tracks for the season, banking $714,000 from that Group 1 win and her Group 1 Canterbury Stakes second placing.

Imperatriz and In Secret are among 20 Australian Stakes winners for the season for I Am Invincible, who is also the sire of Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes winner Shuffle Dancer and Group 3 winners Hawaii Five Oh, Charm Stone, Garibaldi, Quantico and Queen Of The Ball.

King Of Sparta's biggest win for the season came in the Listed Falvelon Stakes, but he was I Am Invincible's third highest-rating performer for the season thanks to a 118 figure returned with a close-up sixth placing in the weight-for-age William Reid Stakes.

Hawaii Five Oh, who rated 116 in his Group 3 Fred Best Classic win, and 114-rater Quantico rounded out his top five Timeform performers.

I Am Invincible, who on Tuesday turned 19, will stand his 14th season at stud this spring, when he will command a career-high service fee of $302,500 (inc GST).
