A look at where this year’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic field came from
James Harron spent up on Day 2 at Magic Millions and will be hoping the colts by Extreme Choice and Zoustar that he paid $1.6 million and $1 million for can do what Highness has done.
The son of Snitzel was a $900,000 buy at last year's Gold Coast Yearling Sale and is the most expensive yearling engaged in this year's race.
The Michael Freedman-trained colt is one of four runners in this year's race who cost at least $500,000, while raging favourite Storm Boy was a $460,000 buy.
At the other end of the scale, three of Mike Crooks' Mishani runners cost $4000 each with the other a $10,000 buy.
The Magic Millions 2YO Classic is a race for horses of all purchase prices with Exhilarates ($600,000) and Away Game ($425,000) the only winners who cost more than $300,000 at a sale.
