Tattersalls assemble 1172 lots for next month's sale
The catalogue for next month's Tattersalls December Foal Sale is now online. Tattersalls has assembled 1172 lots for the sale which will be held from Wednesday November 23 to Saturday November. 26th
The catalogue features siblings to 161 Group and Listed winners, including eleven Group 1 winners headed by a Kingman (Invincible Spirit) half-sister to last weekend's Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes (6f) winner Chaldean (Frankel). Also included are half-brothers to this year's Classic scorers Cachet (Aclaim) and Eldar Eldarov (Dubawi), by Mehmas (Acclamation) and Lope De Vega (Shamardal) respectively.
The largest consignment is the team of 54 foals coming from Richard Kent's Mickley Stud followed by the 46 catalogued from Barton Stud, whilst Genesis Green Stud, leading consignor at the 2021 December Foal Sale, has a team of seven foals.
Commenting on the 2022 Tattersalls December Foal Sale, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said; "The Tattersalls December Foal Sale has enjoyed a banner year, with Group 1 winning two-year-old colts Chaldean and Blackbeard burnishing its reputation as the showcase for the cream of the British and Irish foal crop.
