Friday’s Inglis Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale at Newmarket will feature 87 lots covering all categories of racing and breeding stock .
“There are always plenty of bargains picked out of Inglis Thoroughbred Sales such as Avienus, which was purchased from the Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale a few years ago for a fraction of her current value,†said Inglis Sydney Director Jonathan D’Arcy.
Avienus was purchased as an unraced three-year-old for $20,000 at the 2008 Inglis Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale by Richard Anderson.
The daughter of Reset has won $540,000 in prizemoney since, including a valuable Group Two victory.
Friday’s broodmare section includes daughters of Flying Spur, Royal Academy, Canny Lad and Street Cry plus the stakes winner Sutton Review.The racehorses in the catalogue include stakes placed Butt I’m Ready and city winners Apparitions and Pteryon.
