A catalogue of 176 lots comprising racing and breeding stock has been compiled for the 2015 Inglis March Thoroughbred Sale at the Oaklands complex in Melbourne on March 20.
Following from last year’s 95% clearance rate the sale is expected to once again produce impressive results.
Selling will begin at 10:30am with 43 broodmares, six yearlings and unbroken stock and 127 racehorses.Darley has again supported the sale, offering 32 lots of racing stock for sale.
The draft includes fillies, colts and geldings by Exceed And Excel, Lonhro, Medaglia d’Oro, Bernardini, Denman and seven by the late Street Cry.Among them is the G2 winner Gallatin, G3 winner Champollion and the three-year-old Lonhro gelding Exert which won his second race in three starts at Gosford on February 21.
Lindsay Park has also entered a sizeable draft with 12 quality racehorses on offer including stock by Fastnet Rock, Redoute’s Choice, Lonhro and Encosta De Lago.There is also 15 colts and geldings being offered under the Hudson Conway Racing banner from the stables of Nick and Lloyd Williams by stallions including High Chaparral and Zabeel.
Other racing stock entries include a stakes winner from the family of Makybe Diva, a half-brother to G1 winning sire Darci Brahma and multiple stakes performers.Emirates Park are offering eight broodmares, four of them in foal to freshman sire Harbour Watch, and two in foal to Al Maher.
Shamus Award, Zoustar, Dream Ahead, Reward For Effort, Master Of Design, Written Tycoon, Starspangledbanner and Toorak Toff are among the other sires represented In-Utero. Foals at foot include progeny by Al Maher, Onemorenomore, Stryker and Master Of Design.Other substantial drafts include Forest Lodge Racing, Burnewang North Pastoral, Woodside Park Stud, Bombora Downs, Yarran, Epona Park, Basinghall Farm and Blue Gum Farm.
