A record 3085 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls December Sale from November 26 to December 6, comprising one day of yearlings followed by 1395 foals selling over 5 days and a further 1390 broodmares and fillies over the final four days.
Heading the sale are the trio of Group 1 winning fillies and mares, Indian Ink, Red Evie and Satwa Queen and the exciting G2 winning two year old filly Fleeting SPirit.
Another highlight is the 36-strong Swettenham Stud draft and the dispersal from Haras de Bouquetot in France.
The 36 lots coming from the Sangster family's Swettenham Stud will undoubtedly command plenty of attention.
The consignment comprises one yearling, 16 foals, 11 broodmares and 8 fillies in training.
They include the multiple Grade 1 winning mare Angara in foal to Montjeu as is the outstanding broodmare Magnificent Style, dam of one Group 1 winner, two Group 2 winners and two Listed winners from her first six foals.
She is in foal to Galileo.
Magnificent Style's eighth foal is a three parts brother to Group 1 Fillies' Mile winner Playful Act by Montjeu and is one of the 16 Swettenham foals to be offered.
The Haras de Bouquetot dispersal features 10 foals by top stallions including Cape Cross, Montjeu, Tiger Hill and first crop sire Shamardal.
The French stud also offers 11 high class broodmares carrying to a mixture of proven and young sires including Hurricane Run, Invincible Spirit, Oasis Dream, Oratorio and Pivotgal.
