Byword led home a one-two for Juddmonte owner Prince Khalid Abdullah beating his other high class G1 star Twice Over.

Byword is the second top level winner within two weeks out of the mare Binche following recent Just A Game Stakes heroine Proviso.

Byword is bred on the same Woodman cross as Italian Group 1 winner Sudan and is a descendant of the notable producer Peace.

Peace is the product of a Whitney family who became a huge influence on Juddmonte - among her descendants are Group/Grade 1 winners Wandesta, Zambezi Sun, Midships and Proviso.

* KHALLID Abdullah had another good result on day two when his promising filly Timepiece gave Juddmonte sire Zamindar his first Royal Ascot winner.

Timepiece came back from an Oaks failure to win the Listed Sandringham Handicap.

Zamindar came close to Royal Ascot wins when his daughter Darjina was a head second to Haradasun in the 2008 Queen Anne Stakes and another daughter Zenda was beaten in the 2002 Coronation Stakes.

A 16-year-old brother to brilliant 2000 Guineas winner Zafonic by Gone West, Zamindar won the G3 Prix de Cabourg and was narrowly beaten in the G1 Prix Morny at two.

He stands at Juddmonte's Banstead Manor Stud.

Timepiece's victory completed a fantastic day for Juddmonte, after Zamindar's fellow Banstead Manor Stud residents Oasis Dream and Dansili provided the first two winners Rainfall in the Jersey Stakes and Strawberrydaiquiri in the Windsor Forest Stakes.

TImepiece is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Clepsydra, dam of high-class pair Father Time and Passage Of Time, both by Dansili.

Father Time won the G2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot last year.

Clepsydra also has a two-year-old filly and a yearling colt by Dansili, and is back in foal to Zamindar this year.

* THE torrent of stakes winners for boom sire Oasis Dream show no sign of abating with Rainfall adding to his record in the Listed Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Ranfall is the 29th stakes winner for Oasis Dream and the stallion's 12th so far this year.

Dick O'Gorman purchased Rainfall on behalf of Darley for 140,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-up last year.

She is out of the G2-placed Molomo, a Barathea granddaughter of the Galtres Stakes runner-up Nesaah, who is the granddam of another high-class runner by Oasis Dream in Main Aim, an expected runner in Saturday's G1 Golden Jubilee Stakes.

Molomo has a two-year-old filly by Clodovil in training named Bint Nas and a yearling colt by Diamond Green.
