Singapore Lilly In February Sale

Group 1 placed Singapore Lilly heads a quality catalogue of 298 lots for the 2012 Tattersalls February Sale on February 2.

The catalogue is the largest for the February Sale since 2007 and comprises broodmares, fillies/horses in training, weanlings, two year olds and two stallions Chineur and Striking Ambition.

Singapore Lilly won the Listed Ascendant Stakes at Haydock beating subsequent 2011 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale topper Measuring Time before finishing second to Biondetti in the G1 Gran Criterium.

Darley, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates all have significant consignments with 28 fillies and mares coming from Darley and a further 25 from Juddmonte Farms.

Mares will be offered in foal to proven Group 1 sires ACCLAMATION, BAHAMIAN BOUNTY, COMPTON PLACE, DALAKHANI, EXCEED AND EXCEL, MEDICEAN, NAYEF, SAKHEE, SELKIRK and TEOFILO as well as promising young sires ALFRED NOBEL, AQLAAM, ARCHIPENKO, DUKE OF MARMALADE, MOUNT NELSON, TAMAYUZ and THEWAYYOUARE.

A selection of weanlings by top sires include DALAKHANI, DUTCH ART, ROCK OF GIBRALTAR, SELKIRK and SIR PERCY as well as by first crop yearling sires CAPTAIN GERARD, CHAMPS ELYSEES, LE HAVRE, MYBOYCHARLIE and VIRTUAL.

The sale will be preceded by the popular TBA Stallion Parade.
