The son of Dubawi was returned to training last year after proving subfertile in his first stint at stud.

Trained by Roger Charlton, the seven-year-old returned to record his second win in the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup, a race he also landed in 2013 during a campaign in which he also won the G1 Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and G1 Coral Eclipse at Sandown.

Following that fine season, Al Kazeem was subsequently syndicated and took up stallion duties at the Royal Studs last year.

However after getting only around 25 mares in foal he was bought back by his owner-breeder John Deer and returned to the yard of Charlton.

This time he wil stand at his owner John Deer’s Oakgrove Stud.

"Al Kazeem will stand alongside Avonbridge at Oakgrove Stud," Charlton said on his website.

"I hope he is able to add to the number of foals he has on the ground already, who are currently exciting their breeders."

Al Kazeem is one of three winners out of his dam Kazeem, a daughter of Darshaan and Yorkshire Oaks runner-up Kanz.

His yearling brother, also by Dubawi, is set to be offered at Tattersalls in October.
