The new arrival is a filly by Shadai Stallion Station resident King Kamehameha, sire of 10 G1 winners including Japan's standout three-year-old colt of 2015 Duramente.

Gentildonna, a seven-year-old daughter of Deep Impact owned by Sunday Racing Co, won all three legs of Japan's fillies' Triple Crown - the Oka Sho (1000 Guineas), Yushun Himba (Oaks) and Shuka Sho - and become the first three-year-old flly to win the Japan Cup.

At four Gentildonna was placed in the Dubai Sheema Classic, Takarazuka Kinen and Tenno Sho before he became the first horse to win the Japan Cup twice.

The following season Gentildonna won Sheema Classic in Dubai and signed off her racing career by winning the Arima Kinen.

She was bred by Northern Racing out of Donna Blini, a daughter of Bertolini sold to Katsumi Yoshida for 500,000gns at the 2006 Tattersalls December Mares Sale.

• IN the UK the 2014 Oaks winner Taghrooda (Sea The Stars) will be covered this year by champion sire Dubawi.

Dubawi’s 2016 fee at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket is advertised at £225,000.
