Bloodlette (Race 3) is clear second pick in the market at $2.80 with TopBetta fixed odds having shortened more than a point. She has improved since getting out to longer distances with placings at her last two and looks ready to win one.

Write Da Script (Race 4) has been backed into equal favouritism at $2.25 having firmed 40 cents early on. The filly was outgraded at Flemington last time but is better placed here having won on debut at Ararat.

La Fleurette (Race 5) has taken over as favourite at $3.20 having firmed more than a point. She has been down the track at her past couple in town but won at Sandown before that so is suited in this company if she produces her best.

Tyrannize (Race 6) has tightened his grip on the market at $2.90 on the back of a move of close to two dollars. He drops in grade on his last run at Flemington and was runner up at Sale when resuming and should be ready to peak third up.

Prize (Race 7) opened well into each way odds but has more than halved his price to $3.90 and at that quote is now the favourite. He has now won three races in a row on either side of a spell and the punters are backing him to continue the winning run.

Royal Applause (Race 8) opened as second pick in the market but is now a clear cut favourite at $3.50 having shortened more than point. She brings consistent city form into this so looks well placed with a drop in grade.
