Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Saturday’s meeting at Flemington.

Invincible Heart (Race 1) could be worth an each way ticket at $7 having firmed two points early. She ran a much improved race last start when a nose second to the stakes-class Missrock at this track and has won here before.

Bastille (Race 2) is a clear second pick in the market at $3.70, three-quarters of a point shorter than his opening price. The Hayes-Dabernig is unbeaten in two runs and although stepping up to Saturday company for the first time the punters are confident he can continue the winning run.

Wheal Leisure (Race 6) is another being given an each way hope at $6.50 having halved her opening price. She takes on older and more seasoned rivals but is a lightly-raced filly of promise coming off a last-start third in the Tasmanian Oaks.

Chateau Cheval (Race 7) has taken over as the favourite at $3.60 after tightening more than a point in early betting. The mare broke through to win at Sandown last start after three successive seconds and the punters think she can go on with the job.
