Ace High (Race 1) could be worth an each way ticket at $5.50 having firmed two-and-a-half points in early betting. The colt has been getting to the line well at shorter journeys so may be suited stepping up to the mile.

Pomelo (Race 4) is a well-supported favourite at $2.40 having firmed more than a point. The mare has been impressive in winning all three of her runs this time in and the punters are confident she can continue the winning streak.

Global Glamour (Race 5) is back from a freshen up and the punters believe that can see her produce her best back against her own age. She has tightened her grip on favouritism at $3.20 having firmed 60 cents since markets opened.

Bonneval (Race 6) is trying to break a long drought for NZ Oaks winners in the Sydney version but the punters are in her corner. She has been well-supported for her Australian debut and she is a firm favourite at $3.80 having firmed a half point.

Big Duke (Race 8) opened as favourite for the Sydney Cup but has only tightened his grip on the market at $2.60, a tighten of about 40 cents. The import has won two of the traditional lead-ups and the looks the one to beat in the main event.

Silent Sedition (Race 9) opened as favourite but has only tightened her grip on favouritism at $3.70 after firming the best part of a point to $3.70. She was luckless not to win the Coolmore Classic in her last visit to Sydney but made amends with a tough victory in a G1 at weight for age last start.
