Big Ben The Clock (Race 4) has taken over as favourite at $3.10 after firming in the best part of two points this morning. The three-year-old steps up to the mile today and is expected to be a big improver third up.

Kyrgios (Race 5) has tightened his grip on favouritism at $2.25, about 60 cents shorter than his initial price. He is racing well winning two in a row before a brave third in a higher-graded race last start and has been kept up to the mark with a trial placing since.

Mr Spin (Race 6) could be worth an each way ticket at $5 having firmed in four points in early betting. He wasn’t disgraced when midfield at the provincials last start and was a Coffs Harbour winner before that.

Fickle Folly (Race 7) has been backed into the red at $1.95, which is 65 cents shorter than her opening price. The filly was far from disgraced in a stakes race last start and was G3 placed during the Sydney autumn so looks well placed at country level.

Azcannyaz (Race 8) has moved to the top line of betting at $3.80, more than a point shorter than his initial quote. He was just nosed out when resuming and has a consistent record at this distance.
