The Money Trail – Pakenham, June 8

3 minute read

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Thursday’s meeting at Pakenham.

Miss Toorak Flyer (Race 1) is a well-supported favourite at $2.45 having firmed in 40 cents. The Toorak Toff filly makes her debut for Jason Warren and the market push suggests much is expected on debut.

Madam Stowell (Race 4) could be worth an each way ticket at $6.50 having firmed three-and-a-half points this morning. The filly was good on debut when placed at Geelong and is open to natural improvement.

Archery Peak (Race 6) is another offering each way value at $5.50, which is two-and-a-half points shorter than his opening quote. He ran an improved race last start to place when up quickly in trip and should be fitter third up.

October Tutu (Race 8) has tightened his grip on favouritism at $3.60 having firmed 70 cents this morning. The gelding has been super consistent having placed at his last three starts and gets his chance to break through.
