Street Allure An Attractive Proposition

3 minute read

After an encouraging maiden preparation, Street Allure is largely expected to resume in winning fashion at Ararat on Monday.

The Darren Weir-trained filly placed in four of her five career starts, all of which came in arguably tougher races than this.

Placings behind the likes of Solicit and Suavito read very well for Monday’s Moyston Tigers Reunion Maiden Plate (1108m) where she rates well clear on Timeform figures.

The daughter of Street Boss has shown good early speed in her races and from barrier 2 should get a perfect run in transit under the guidance of Michelle Payne.

Of those with disclosed form, Street Allure has them all covered with the Robbie Griffiths-trained Laguna Vista shaping as the main danger.

Her two runs last campaign at Echuca and Bendigo were sound and drawn just outside Street Allure, Laguna Vista should be able to keep a close eye on her in transit.

Three debutants take their place in the second race at Ararat today, Bren’s Boy, Vegas Bound and Bumba Bumba.

None of them have trialled and suspect they have their work cut out for them against a filly with the potential of Street Allure.
