McEvoy Provides Infinite Fortune At Taree

3 minute read

Granted he has only been there a handful of times but Tony McEvoy is unbeaten at Taree racecourse and Infinite Fortune can keep that record in-tact today.

Tony McEvoy has a strong record in the country Picture: Racing and Sports

McEvoy is only relatively new to the NSW racing scene but he has sent horses to Taree on four occasions and returned home with four wins.

Those four winners are part of eleven NSW country winners overall at a strike-rate of 34% and with a profit on turnover of +41.6%.

First-up in the country this season the stable is four from eleven and turning a profit of 54.5%.

Bottom line: The stable is hard to beat in the bush.

Infinite Fortune joins the yard after 25 starts with David Hayes where she showed glimpses of ability without ever really cashing in.

The best pieces of his form measure up here, though, and his recent trials have shown him back in good order.

Joining the McEvoy yard is seen as a positive and again the numbers suggest that Infinite Fortune is in a winning spot.

The stable strikes at 17% with runners from other stables first time out, 62 winners coming from 361 runners and turning a profit on turnover of +3.3%.

Dangers to Infinite Fortune today are headed by Ruby Spy, who made a pleasing return last time, and Pearl Fish, who has been good in his latest couple of runner-up performances.

The latter is perhaps best kept to multiples, the lone win in 28 starts hardly an inspiring overall record.
