No Concerns With Denham Runner At Taree

3 minute read

No Concerns will look to build on her solid last start effort when lining up in the Prime7 Television Class 2 Handicap (1250m).

The Allan Denham-trained runner was not beaten far when third at this C/D last time out and on best form she rates very well against her rivals in this.

Robert Thompson who has a good record on the filly remains on board and from barrier 8 would expect her to not be far away in the run.

No Concerns had excuses in her first two starts this campaign and if she runs up to her last start effort she will be very tough to beat in this.

Bossy Lad has certainly returned to racing in good order, placing in both outings this time in.

Comes out of the same race as No Concerns when runner up and has drawn to get a much better run from barrier 1.

The six-year-old gelding has failed to win a race in some 836 days now which is of concern but appears to have hit a bit of form for his new yard and with Grant Buckley on board for the first time looks a danger.

Bossy Lad has placed in all three previous runs at the course and has placed in 5/9 at the trip.

Bold Life has been mixing his form in recent times but produced a solid effort when third at Cessnock last time out.

Gets in very well today with the 3kg claim for apprentice jockey and has a solid enough record here at Taree.

Goes up 100m on his last start effort where he has only placed in two of six but certainly looks an each way chance today.

Lightly raced Correspondent also comes into consideration stepping out for new yard today.

Won over the mile at Ararat two back before being well held at Moonee Valley and finds himself taking on easier today back in trip.

Has drawn to get a good run on the speed and looks well in with the 2kg claim for apprentice jockey.

The three-year-old might find a few of these a bit too sharp but certainly stays under notice in a race like this

Good luck!
