The Lee Freedman trained Nowyousee creates plenty of interest in his stable debut tonight, formerly trained by Ricardo Le Grange.
A shoeing issue was behind the postponement of Nowyousee’s much-anticipated debut on July 20, but all is reportedly in good order for his return in race eight.
Nowyousee is one of eight horses to join Freedman's care from the Titanium Racing Stable, Tesoro Privado another key addition. The latter won impressively on debut for the Freedman stable and no doubt he will be hoping Nowyousee can continue the trend.
Only lightly raced, Nowyousee has won three of six starts and is notably unbeaten over this trip.In his first public appearance for Freedman, Nowyousee was very impressive when spacing his rivals in a 1000m trial.
Allowed to cruise under Daniel Moor, Nowyousee won the trial by close to 10L and stopped the clock in 59.50 seconds - slick to say the least.Nowyousee is unbeaten fresh and Vlad Duric appears a key booking.
From the inside draw he is expected to land into a lovely position and should be given every chance. When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, he sits clear of his rivals and is notably open to further improvement at just his second preparation.
He is a very promising and should take a power of beating. The Steven Burridge trained Tingle Marc also creates plenty of interest in his return with Daniel Moor electing to ride the five-year-old.
Moor rode both Nowyousee and Tingle Marc in their most recent trials so a big watch with Moor electing to go his way.Only lightly raced he has displayed decent ability in seven starts and rates highly on best form.
The wide draw is a concern, however he still shapes as one of the major players. The Alvin Tan trained My Horse has to be respected up the top of the weights as he continues to race well.
He has placed in seven of his last 12 starts and while giving weight away, he still appears well placed.Of the rest the consistent Preferred appears the next in line, having finished a close fourth last start.
All four career wins have come on the polytrack and if up to his best, he should be too far away.Good luck and happy punting.
