Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Taree, Dubbo, Bendigo and Cairns.

TAREE: RACE 5 @ 4:20 PM

ETUDE (7) started hard in the market on debut ($1.90 fav), when an impressive winner over 1000m at Muswellbrook five-and-a-half months ago. Since fitted with the two trials and finds a fairly weak C1 to kick off. No excuses from the low draw. ZOUBEAUTY (3) back in grade at her second race start when recording a commanding maiden victory over 900m at Muswellbrook on October 21. Kept fresh and the stable looked to have found the right race for her. MR TRACKSIDE (1) only the one win from 14 starts and resumes with good fresh figures. Gelded over the break and the tongue-tie comes off with the 3kg claim. Has won both trials and look for him late. PRINCESS VITTORIA (2) best effort in three runs back when sitting on the pace for a gritty second over 1000m here on November 17. Fitness can see her go one better today.
SELECTIONS: Etude to win.

DUBBO: RACE 5 @ 4:40 PM

AVALICIOUS (5) gave backers a bold sight at Narromine but faded late. Is sure to be giving herself every chance again up on speed and strips rock-hard fit. Can go close. MARGARET'S MISSILE (4) was a determined winner two back at Orange. Not as effective last time but her best figures measure up. Don't take lightly. SHADOW SHOT (6) only warmed to his task late fresh at Bathurst, making good inroads to just miss the minors. Improvement to come second-up and he should appreciate the added trip. In the mix. ON THE DECS (8) struggled at the latest but her form prior was solid. Keeping safe.
SELECTIONS: Siding with Avalicious.

BENDIGO: RACE 9 @ 5:00 PM

Competitive. SHE FLYS (12) brings a Maiden win in a return to her best form. In a leading metro barn and will be fitter again. She positions forward and can go back-to-back. SACRED EAGLE (6) won and then placed at Warrnambool before disappointing at Ararat (vet cleared). Prepared to forgive that. He will use the inside gate and Stackhouse goes aboard. He's suited and a bounce is on the cards. BANNERTON (3) capped solid form with an Open 3 win at Wycheproof. Maps well and x3 winning rider Coffey is reunited. HYDROGEN POWER (4) went well at Kyneton first-up and has more to give. He has a chance as well.
SELECTIONS: With She Flys.

CAIRNS: RACE 6 @ 5:40 PM

GREY POWER (7) has a bit of upside and has changed stables after scoring by over 9 lengths at a recent Moranbah picnic meeting and was also good enough to clear her maiden status at Cloncurry 3 starts back. She seems to be at her best when allowed her own rules in front and from the pole position, she will attempt to take them all the way again. OUT OF SIGHT (5) sat outside the leader last time out and proved to be too tough in a driving finish to the line, scoring by a nose. This is no harder and she only has to cope with a 3kg weight rise to be the winner again. THE WALLET (6) is a consistent gelding who finished third at Townsville 5 days ago when setting the pace with a slipped saddle. He is likely to be ridden with cover this time and should be right in the finish again. LORD POWER (3) finds it hard to win and a recent freshen-up would have done him no harm. He is usually thereabouts and is worth including in all multiples.
SELECTIONS: Grey Power to win.
