The G2 Prix de Bretagne (2700m) takes place at Vincennes on Sunday. It is the biggest event of the Vincennes Winter Meeting so far and is the first of the 'B' qualifying races for all Group One classics - Grand Prix d'Amérique, Grand Prix de France and Grand Prix de Paris.

Hades de Vandel

Hades de Vandel has placed on his last few outings including in the G3 Prix Pierre van Troyen. He faces a very competitive field and would require more.

Ganay de Banville

Ganay de Banville is an exciting five year old. He produced a career best winning the G1 Prix de l'Etoile in September and a repeat of that performance would see him get involved.

Amon You Sm

Amon You Sm has been struggling to find form in Black type races and could find this a tough task against some of the best in the category.

Wild Love

Wild Love has been disqualified twice from her last three outings. Recent completions including a fifth in a Class B contest would suggest she will find this difficult.

Rebella Matters

Rebella Matters upheld her strong recent form when taking the G3 Prix du Languedoc by half a metre. She has been placed multiple times in Black Type company in recent months and should go close.

Frisbee d'Am

Although Frisbee d'Am has shown plenty of ability in the past, he has been struggling to find his best form lately and needs to show more.

Fakir du Lorault

Fakir Du Lorault completed a double winning the G3 Prix de la Ville de Caen in October and ran well to finish one and a quarter lengths in the G3 Prix des Cevennes subsequently.

Violetto Jet

Violetto Jet is a familiar face in these Black Type races but he has been struggling to find the frame recently.

Detroit Castelets

Detroit Castelets was a narrow winner of the G3 Prix de Beaugency in September and struggled in the G2 Prix d'Ete subsequently. He placed second in the G1 Prix Rene Balliere in June behind Face Time Bourbon which could be a form-line to follow.

Flamme du Goutier

Flamme du Goutier is a top-class mounted horse and has been campaigned in driven events over the last few months. Although she finished second in the G2 Prix du Sud-Ouest at Beaumont-de-Lomagne in October, the six year old would need to step up to win at the top level among driven company.

Diable de Vauvert

Diable de Vauvert has a strong record over this course and distance with two wins and a placing from four attempts. He won this race twelve months ago and has been given two confidence boosting wins tackling lower grades in preparation.

Feliciano

Feliciano was an excellent five-year-old and finished second in the G1 Championnat Europeen des 5 Ans (2100m) in October 2020. He has run with credit since but has struggled to find the frame barring a second among Group Three company in September.

Chica de Joudes

Chica de Joudes is chasing a double after a confident start finding success in the G3 Prix des Cevennes. She has demonstrated improvement in recent months and cannot be dismissed.

Etonnant

Etonnant enjoyed a successful summer, winning the G2 Prix des Ducs de Normandie (2450m) in May. He has been racing in mounted and driven company and must be respected.

Feeling Cash

Feeling Cash has only finished out of the frame twice in seven attempts over course and distance. His recent runs would suggest this is a tough ask.

Carat Williams

Carat Williams has been racing consistently in recent months including a second in G2 Grand Prix du Conseil Municipal (2950m) at Vichy. He could easily find the frame again.

Zacon Gio

Italian horse Zacon Gio is having his first start for Jean-Michel Bazire and represents the main danger to Face Time Bourbon. He has beaten the champion in the past although his recent fifth behind Face Time Bourbon in the G1 Gran Premio Lotteria Finale suggests he may need to find a little more. It will be interesting to see if his new trainer can find further improvement.

Bilibili

Bilibili returns after a year-long absence and often uses this driven race as a springboard for his mounted campaign. Despite an excellent career record, his driven form is not the same standard as mounted.

Face Time Bourbon

Face Time Bourbon looks difficult to beat despite a recent defeat in Italy. His last run in France was an impressive victory in the G1 Rene Balliere and he bounced back from his second at Naples with a win in the G1 Gran Premio Lotteria Finale.

WIN – FACE TIME BOURBON

DARK HORSE – DETROIT CASTELETS
