Beaten jockeys talk to the media post race, Ryan Moore reporting Magic Wand was luckless. #HKIR
1st - WIN BRIGHT – Masami Matsuoka
"It went the way we were expecting. I thought the pace would be slow so I sat about third or fourth. I was really happy the way it went. It's a great honour to be representing Japan."
2nd - MAGIC WAND – Ryan Moore
"She ran super, she was unlucky. She's very game."
3rd - RISE HIGH – Vincent Ho
"Perfect run, I think I'm happy with him. He had a perfect position and travelled very nicely but Win Bright and Magic Wand were too good for him today. It was a good run and I think he will come back stronger."
4th – FURORE - Hugh Bowman
"He acquitted himself really well. He was a bit held up in the early part of the straight and that didn't help. It was a bit tight at that point and he finished off OK. He ran on well and I was pleased with his run."
5th - EDISA – Stephane Pasquier
"She's not fast enough to follow the pace."
6th – GLORIOUS FOREVER – Zac Purton
"He ran well."
7th - DARK DREAM – Damian Lane
"He just didn't have the toe to put him in the spot early, wasn't quite sharp enough when they sprinted, got a little bit of room late but he got chopped out of it."
8th - TIME WARP – Karis Teetan
"It's Time Warp, he got there and halfway through the race he was looking to give up already."
