Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maiden fillies with six of the eleven racing for the first time. (1) GWANAKSAN WONDERFUL was 3rd on debut in September and followed up with a 2nd place on October 26th having come from well off the pace over this distance. Third-up she can be peaking, Moon Se-young climbs on, and she can go one better. (6) SINHAN ACE was a trial winner and was then runner-up on debut at this distance on November 23rd, settling midfield and finishing off very nicely. He should have derived benefit from the run and shapes as the main danger. Among the first timers, (9) MISS FAMOUS and (10) KIA ORA were the quickest in trials with the latter winning his heat. If they bring that form to the races, both can go close first-up. Returning to the experience, (11) ISEUL CHEOREOM was a fair 5th in a slow race on debut and can improve.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maidens with four of the twelve racing for the first time. (2) SUHYANG MIIN ran 4th on debut in October and then followed up an on-pace 2nd over this distance on November 30th when on pace throughout. The only filly in the race, she draws well to get to the lead, and she is the one to beat. (12) HANGANG FANTASTIC was 2nd on debut over 1200M on November 24th having raced handy throughout. He has the challenge of the widest gate here but showed promise and can be in the finish here. (5) HIGH CROWN Improved to 2nd at start number two at this trip last month when in contrast to his debut, he was ridden on pace. Expect similar tactics today and he can be a threat. (11) CHEONGRYONGUI CAL was 4th on debut and can improve for the run while among the first timers, (10) LEGEND WOW was best in trials.

(1) BREEDO KING STAR returns to action for the first time since May. He had four top five finishes from five starts before the layoff and looked well when finishing midfield in a November trial. While his race sharpness will have to be taken on trust, if he can show the kind of form he had previously, he has a winning chance. (8) LADY FOX similarly returns after a lengthy absence, in her case racing for the first time since June. She has a 2nd and a 3rd to her name and while she didn't offer many clues in a slow trial at the end of November, she is a chance in this company. (7) TRES VITE has never finished in the top three in twenty-five attempts but has been 4th of 5th on no fewer than eleven occasions and should be there or thereabouts again. (3) POETIC NUBI and (4) BEAUTIFUL HWASEONG others in the minor money frame.

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
Two standouts in this maiden. (4) NAEGILUI YEOJEONG was 4th on debut on October and then followed up with a 2nd place over this distance on November 16th when leading for much of the way around. From a great draw, he can be on pace again and can go all the way this time. He will have to dispute that lead with (2) SPARTAN. He has a best of 3rd recorded at this distance two starts back in a time quicker than what Naegilui Yeojeong has achieved, and his 5th place last time out was against a stronger set of rivals than this. He too draws very nicely and will be in this a long way. The form falls off after that pair. (9) COMMAND BLUE enters off a fair 5th over this distance while (11) NONSTEP SERVE has shown gradual improvement across three outings so far and both can be placing chances. (8) RAON THE IMPACT another potential improver.

(3) MORE THAN JOKE got his maiden win two starts back over 1200M before running 2nd when a hot favourite for his first try at this class and distance on November 23rd when handy throughout. He comes up 2kg in weight but draws slightly better and is well worth another chance here. (2) YEONGUNG JARYONG is the main danger. After having a hard time in his first couple of tries at this class, he returned to form last time out when 2nd over this trip on November 16th settling midfield and running on. Moon Se-young, who rode him when he won, returns to the ride and he will be second favourite. (1) CUPID MIR has a 2nd and a 3rd from his latest two, both at this class and distance and from the inside gate, should be in the mix again. (5) GLOBAL HAMSEONG and (9) GANGCHEOL JEONSA are others in the placing frame.

(6) TAENGGEURI is yet to win in nineteen starts but enters in the best form of his career with back-to-back runner-up finishes from his latest two at this distance and at 1800M. He likes to settle midfield and run on and even a similar effort to those two outings, can see him finally go one better. Should he find one too quick again, it might be (7) POSEIDON BLUE. He too is still a maiden, although in his case after just six outings, but he has three placings to his name and ran a good 4th when stepped up to two turns for the first time on November 23rd and he can get closer this time. That will mean overturning the form on (1) EUNSEONG NOEUL and (3) PLAN B, who came home in 2nd and 3rd place respectively in that November 23rd race, and both can be in the mix again. (5) EVERY CHARM another to consider.

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (10) SECRET SOCKS was a strong winner on debut over this trip in October when leading all the way, before having a poor day at the office when tried in the Listed Gwacheon Mayor's Trophy on November 17th against some of the best juvenile imports. She comes back into more amenable company today, and while she has the challenge of a wide gate, she can return to winning ways. The other standout is (6) MOONHAK HOLIDAY. Yet to win in twelve, she enters with recent form reading pleasingly, including a 2nd and a 3rd from her latest two, both at this class and distance. In this company, she can race on-pace and has every chance of going all the way. (2) MUHAN ARGO was a fair 5th of nine last month on her first start back following five months out. She should strip fitter for that run and can be closer. (8) BYEOLNARA BIMA and (1) SEONGSIL DAERO are others to consider.

Competitive race. (10) NEW DOLKONG just about gets the verdict with his maiden win two starts ago followed by a 4th place when dropped back slightly to 1700M on November 30th. The longer trip seems more his go, and while he carries his fair share of weight, he is probably the one to beat. (7) TIZ ENERGY finally made his breakthrough at start number thirty-one on November 16th when beating plenty of today's rivals at this class and distance. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights and was 3rd behind New Dolkong two starts back, but a repeat isn't impossible. (6) TRISTAN WANGJA was 3rd in that November 16th race continuing a rising trajectory of form and he can go close again. (9) BIG BLED and (5) MIGHTY NIC others in the hunt.

(6) RAON TIMOTH hasn't quite lived up to his early promise, but he returned to winning ways on November 10th when scoring with a front-running effort at this class and distance. With an apprentice claiming 3kg, he only comes up slightly in the weights and from a good draw, he can repeat. (8) GOLDEN JACKPOT was 4th on debut before winning his next two, both over 1200M. That brings him up rapidly in class and he also comes up in trip here, but he is down in the weights, and he can measure up. (7) STRENGTH has a 4th and a 3rd in two starts at this level. He has posted consistently good times for the 1400M, and he can be in the finish again. (11) TIZ MORNING and (9) MR. POWER among others who can have a say.

(10) MIGHTY NEO got his maiden win at start number two over this distance on October 12th before running 3rd when sent off as the favourite for the Listed Gwacheon Mayor's Trophy on November 17th behind the very good Wonpyeong Storm and Final K. He is nicely weighted here, the draw shouldn't be a problem, and he has lots of potential for more development. (11) TAP TIER was a very close runner-up on debut before winning at start number two on November 24th, racing handy. He is up in class and in distance here but had no issue with gate eleven on debut and he can measure up. (1) YONGBI SEOUL has a 3rd and a 2nd from his latest two, both at this class and distance and can be there or thereabouts again. The returning (4) BONGHWA STAY along with (8) MIGHTY JJANG are others in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million
Competitive finale. We'll take a chance on (7) MIRACLE HANGANG. He was a winner at this distance two starts back before running a close 2nd on his first try at this class on November 23rd. Ultra consistent, he has thirteen top three finishes from sixteen starts and with Ruan Maia on, today can be his day. That will mean overturning the form on (3) YEONGGWANGUI WORLD who won that November 23rd race, leading pretty much all the way. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights but that's balanced somewhat by a good draw, and he has solid claims again. (2) GEOSEN BANGYEOK is also a last start class and distance winner, scoring in fine fashion on October 26th. He too comes up in the weights, but a repeat would be no surprise. (4) THE PLAYER, 3rd behind Yeonggwangui World and Miracle Hangang in that November 23rd race, and (11) RAON AMERICAN among plenty of others who can play a role in the finish.
