Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maidens in the opener with six of the eleven racing for the first time. We'll side with experience though and (2) VINCERO CUE, who ran 3rd on debut over this distance on October 13th, a long way behind winner Cupid It, who ran 2nd at class 5 last week, but showing enough to suggest he has potential and from a good draw, he can win here. (1) CRAZY MARI was a fair 5th of eleven at this distance on debut all the way back on August 31st. She comes in fresh after fourteen weeks off and while her race sharpness must be taken on trust, she draws well to lead. (6) TURBO CHARGE and (11) YEONGGWANGUI SKY ran 4th and 5th when they raced one another on the latter's debut on November 2nd. Both can build on that here. As for the first-time starters, (3) AFLEET RUN was the best in trials and from a good draw can be in the market.

(5) LEMON K went around in the Listed Munhwa Ilbo Trophy for her second start but came into much more amenable company to run 3rd at this distance on November 3rd when on pace throughout. She's evidently highly thought of, and she can make her breakthrough here. (1) PURGE RUBY ran 4th behind Lemon K in that November 3rd race, settling back and running on. She has shown gradual improvement across her four starts so far and can continue to make an impact here. (2) GLOBAL SERVE will need a line drawn through his latest when favourite over this distance on November 9th but finished well back. His previous two outings showed plenty of promise though and from a good gate and with CC climbing on, he is worth another chance. (9) IRISH MAN and (6) BEAT DOKKAEBI the other main hopes.

(7) MORNING DEW will be hot favourite to score in the opening maiden on the south coast. He has a 2nd place on his record and enters off a 3rd place at this distance on November 10th, when always close to the pace and leading for part of the way. In this company, he can get to an early lead and will take some passing. (10) FLASH DAY returned from five months out to run 5th od ten over this distance on November 17th. He should strip fitter for that run and while he has the challenge of the widest gate, can be a danger. (6) BEOLGYO WANGCHO improved to 3rd at start number two on October 25th and can maintain that momentum here. (4) DORAON SAMSON and (9) BLACK WAVE are the other placing chances.

Two standouts here. After finishing 5th on debut, (2) DAZZLE RUSH was 2nd at start number two over 1300M on November 3rd at this distance, settling, as he did on debut, well back and running on very well. Third-up she can be peaking, and she can go one better here. (4) ECLIPSE THE KING similarly improved on his second start on October 27th, coming home 3rd over this distance. Previously an also-ran in the Rookie Stakes, Moon Se-young stays on, and drawn better, he can be expected to be on or close to the speed today and may well start as the betting favourite. (8) RUNNING ARTIST is clear third pick. She was 3rd behind Dazzle Rush in that November 3rd race, her second consecutive 3rd place and in this company should be targeting at least that again. The form falls off rapidly after those three, with (6) ARCH DAY and (10) YONGAM STAR perhaps the best of the rest.

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (8) NONSTOP DUTY got her maiden win seven starts back but she has been working towards another and her recent form reads very pleasingly with a 2nd and a 3rd from her latest two, both at this distance. She has the fastest time among these for the 1200M and in this company, she can settle behind the speed and prove too strong late on. (4) SWEET BEOMHAN returns to action for the first time since landing her maiden win at start number three all the way back in April. She looked very well when 3rd in a trial two weeks ago, Franco is up, and she will have plenty of first up backers. (9) MAGIC ELEVEN beat Nonstop Duty when the pair ran 2nd and 3rd in a very similar race to this on November 15th. That was the closest she has come in seventeen outings to date, but she can be expected to be on pace and in this a long way again. (10) SAMAKUI KKOT and (1) BACK TO THE LADY others to keep safe.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(10) BEST RACE was 2nd on debut before winning comfortably at start number two on October 27th when leading all the way around over 1200M. He comes up in class and in distance here, but the manner of that win suggests there is more to come, and he is the one to beat here. (4) HAKSAN DAESE did nothing for her first eleven starts except finish 5th every other race. She has really picked up in her latest two though, with a 2nd and then a maiden win bringing her up to this class. The 2nd place came on her sole try so far at this distance and she can keep her good run going here. (3) EUMSEONG POWER arrested a run of slightly cold form with a 2nd place at this class and distance on October 26th and can go well again. (2) APPLE STYLE and (11) HAENGUN BARAM among others in the placing frame.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Competitive race with plenty entering with recent form reading very well. (9) STORM FIGHTER got his maiden win in fine style at start number four on November 11th when he settled fairly before quickly making his way to the front and going on to win by as many as he pleased. He comes up in class here, but his time was quicker than any of the others have posted over 1400M, and he can win again. (4) GALLOP QUEEN did beat Storm Fighter when the pair ran 1st and 3rd over 1300M at class 6 level. She came up to this class on November 8th and finished a close 2nd at this distance, racing handy throughout. Given her draw, she will be on or close to the speed again and has every chance. (3) GWANGYAEUIHAMSEONG and (10) WONDERFUL BIDDER came home 2nd and 3rd at this class and distance on November 1st and both can be in the mix again. (11) AWESOME SUNRISE another in the hunt.

Wide open. (5) URUS KHAN was a class and distance winner two starts back before being slightly slow away and getting a bit far back when well supported on November 2nd. He carries his fair share of weight again but is two from four at this distance and is worth another chance here with Moon staying on. That will mean overturning the form on (2) EXCELLENT TAN, who ran 2nd in that November 2nd race, settling midfield and running on. That was his third consecutive runner-up finish and first at this class, and he should be there or thereabouts again. (11) JECHUK IHO was an all the way winner at this class and distance on November 9th. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights and has the challenge of the widest gate, but he warrants respect. (6) NAEGILUI WINNER, looking to complete a hat-trick, and (3) LADY CODI, 2nd in that same race, among others who can be in the finish.

It's hard to go past (8) BLACK FALCON. True, he has only won once, but that was just two starts back on his first try at two-turns and he quickly followed up with a 2nd place on November 17th at this class very much suggesting that 1800M is his go. He settled back and ran on that day and while he is up 2kg on last time, he is still carrying less than he won under and he can win again. (7) BEST CHAMP has been figuring things out at this class and distance and comes in off a fair 4th place on November 8th when going right back before finishing off well. He comes in under a very light weight and so long as he doesn't leave himself too much to do, he can be right in this. (3) QUEEN'S ROAD was 6th behind Black Falcon on November 17th in a race she was well supported in. Two starts back she ran 3rd and from a good gate she can be among the pacesetters. (6) MILK DAY and (5) SKY SHOT others who can enter the calculations.

After two very promising runs to start his career, (3) ELDORADO GANGNAM struck gold at the third time of asking with a dominant victory over 1200M on November 3rd when he settled handy and proved too strong. He comes up in class and up 2.5kg in the weights, but the manner of that win suggests that there is more to come. (4) WORLD PEOPLE led for much of the way around at this class and distance on October 27th, ultimately coming home a close 2nd with a couple of today's rivals behind him. He remains under and light weight, draws well, and should be close again. (10) LUCKY FRANK has flattered to deceive a little across four starts so far, but he was 4th in the November 3rd race behind Eldorado Gangnam having led and a similar run will put him in the finish again. (8) GEOSEON JINGYEOK and (2) CHANG CHANG SOCKS are the other ones in contention for the minors.

(2) HUIMANG RANI is two for two having won at 1200M and 1300M, making all on both occasions. That brings her rapidly up in class, and she comes up in distance to a mile, but neither should be an issue and from a nice draw and under a lightly weight, she can complete her hat-trick here. (5) MAN OF THE KING was a somewhat unexpected winner at this class over 1400M on November 15th when he came from well off the pace. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights and up to a mile for the first time, but third up this preparation he may be peaking and can go close again. (10) BLACK VOLT doesn't win out of turn but is rarely far away and this is the kind of race he can compete for the paces in. The form falls off after those three with (4) FLYING CROWN, who comes out the Listed Gyeongnam Do Min Ilbo Trophy having the most potential to improve. (9) AMAZING BOSS another who can be in line for the minors.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
Tricky race for fillies and mares only. (6) CHEONHAENGCHAT has been in good form of late with a 3rd and a 4th from her latest two at 1700M and 1200M. Remarkably, despite nineteen starts behind her, she hasn't been tried over 1400M before but while she does come up 3kg in the weights, today can be her day. (10) CHEONMAPYEONGJEONG has similarly been looking well of late with a 2nd place followed by three consecutive 4th places, most recently on November 10th at this distance when he came from off the pace to beat a couple of today's rivals. She won't need to improve much on that to go close here. (9) TINA K is yet to win in ten but in this company and its lack of early speed, she may find herself further forward than usual and she can be a danger. (2) ARGO GONGJU and (11) PEERLESS other place hopes.

(4) DALBITSANYANGKKUN will be a warm favourite here. After a couple of ordinary first attempts, he has finished in the top three in each of his latest five, with his win coming over 1800M at class 4 level. Since then, he has run 3rd in three attempts at this level. He has a smart finish on him and if in a close position at the business end, he may well have too much. (8) MAGARITA has been up and down in her latest few outings, but she ran a solid 4th place on her only previous try at a mile and under a light weight may be worth a chance at a probable each way price to return to form. (3) WONDERFUL BOBCAT and (6) BEOLMAUI JEONSA were 1st and 2nd ahead of Magarita over tis distance on November 1st and both can be in the hunt again. (5) RAON STRONG another with at least place chances.

(2) BAEKRYONG was a winner over 1800M two starts back before running 2nd over the same distance on his first try at this class on November 3rd having led for most of the way around. Harry rode him in both of those races and stays up today and from a good draw, they can get an easy lead and go all the way. (1) NAMSAN MUJEOK ran out a winner at this class and distance on November 2nd, settling midfield and running on, scoring easily. That win had been coming and while he comes up a full 3.5kg in the weights, he shapes as the main danger here. (10) SUPER ECTON was 2nd in that same race. The veteran has three-lengths to find on Namsan Mujeok and he once more carries his fair share of weight, but Kozzi stays on and he can aim for a place again. (7) SAINT LUCCA and (6) LONDON ACE others in the place hunt.

Busan Race 7: Class 2 (2000M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million
Competitive finale with none of the twelve having previously won at this distance. (9) CATALINA MARINE has finished 3rd in both his two outings since returning from six months out, most recently when beating a few of these over 1800M on what was his first try at this class on November 3rd. He stays under a light weight, Munro is on, and his first go at 2000M can suit. (3) GREAT WINNER is up in class following back-to-back class 3 scores at 1800M, both times racing on pace. He already has experience of this distance having run a solid 5th of fifteen in the Minister's Cup, the final leg of the Triple Crown, in June and while he has his fair share of weight to contend with, this winner of five from ten has every chance of more. (10) FLYING THE CHAMP enters off a smart 3rd place at this class over a mile on November 22nd, coming from well off the pace. Like Catalina Marine, he is third up this preparation and can be peaking. (11) DOCTOR KINGDOM and (12) I WILL BE FREE other place chances.

(8) NARAOLA is a winner of three of his last four, most recently scoring over this distance on September 29th having led all the way. He comes in fresh after ten weeks out and while he is up in class, he is down 2.5kg in the weights and Moon Se-young stays on with every chance of winning again. The main danger is (5) MAGLE DAY. A winner at this class over 1400M two starts back, he stepped up to this trip for the first time on November 10th and ran a solid 4th place, beating a couple of today's rivals in the process. He should have derived benefit from that experience of two turn racing, and he can be closer today. (2) SHACKLE POINT had a poor day at the office on his first try at this class on November 17th. He has won over 1700M and run well at this distance though so may be worth another chance under a light weight and at an each-way price. (4) SEIRENE and (10) MANDAERO others firmly in the frame.
Selections | (8) Naraola (5) Magle Day (2) Shackle Point (4) Seirene |

(2) VINCERO CAVALLO ran a super 6th in the international Korea Sprint in September before winning at 1400M at class 2 level on October 12th. He went down to Busan for the Listed Kookje Shinmun Sprint over 1400M on November 10th, for which he was sent off favourite but while he ran well, he only managed 4th. Coming into regular class 1 today and back at 1200M and drawn nicely, he will be a short price favourite. (9) I'M JJANG won three in a row between last December and this March, all at 1400M and up to class 1 level. He hasn't raced since but he looked very well when winning a trial in November and while he has to be taken on trust, he has plenty of talent and this race should suit first up. (10) EOSEOMAREULHAE was a winner at class and distance in a quick time on November 3rd, leasing most of the way. He has the challenge of the widest gate here but can be in the mix again. (1) LEEWOLMA and (8) SEUNGBUSA among other placing chances.
