Two Singapore runners have been supplemented to the two glamour races to be run on May 17.
They are Slew Of Lode (pictured) for the $3 million Group 1 Singapore Airlines International Cup (2000m) and Kiwi Karma for the $1 million Group 1 KrisFlyer International Sprint (1200m).
The Patrick Shaw-trained Slew Of Lode, a five-year-old son of Lode, scored back-to-back Group 3 wins in the Polytrack Mile Championship (1600m) and Marsiling Classic Stakes (1800m) before running out of the placings in last Sunday’s Group 2 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2000m).
Former top juvenile Kiwi Karma scored a three-in-a-row this preparation under her new trainer Michael Clements, including scoring two wins at Group 3 level, the CECF Singapore Prestige Classic (1400m) and the Dester Singapore Three-Year-Old Sprint (1200m), before the Fast 'N' Famous filly ran fourth in last Sunday’s Group 1 Lion City Cup (1200m), losing narrowly to War Affair.
