Nicky Henderson looks to have another bright prospect on his hands after Arclight made it back-to-back Listed victories by landing the feature Lady Godiva Mares' Novices' Chase at Wincanton on Tuesday.

Although not exactly bred for chasing, the Henderson-trained four-year-old has seemingly taken to jumping fences like a duck to water and remained unbeaten over the larger obstacles with yet another smooth success.

A two-time winner over hurdles and once on the flat, she began her chasing career with victory in handicap company off a mark of 116 at Kempton before going on to comfortable success when upped to Listed level at Exeter a month later.

The four-year-old daughter of Champs Elysees proved the step up to two and a half miles on softer ground to be no issue at Wincanton this afternoon, putting in an exceptional round of jumping to beat March Wren by two lengths without having to be anywhere near fully extended by Nico de Boinville.

Paddy Power introduced Arclight at 20/1 for the Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase at Cheltenham next March.
