El Fabiolo spearheads a team of ten for trainer Willie Mullins at Sandown on Saturday.
Willie Mullins looks to be leaving nothing to chance in his title bid having declared ten horses across the card, which is worth £675,000, at Sandown on Saturday.
The Clossutton-based handlers' team is headed by El Fabiolo, who was last seen losing his unbeaten record over fences when pulled-up following an early mistake in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham in March. The Simon and Isaac Soude-owned contender will take on Jonbon for the first time since the pair met in the Arkle Novices' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival last season.
The field of seven will also feature Edwardstone, Editeur Du Gite and Boothill, although impressive Arkle winner Gaelic Warrior has not been declared for Mullins, with Henry de Bromhead similarly opting to leave Champion Chase hero Captain Guinness out.
Willie Mullins' trio Minella Cocooner, Nick Rockett and Aime Desjy will take on last year's winner Kitty's Light, who finished fifth in the Grand National at Aintree last month, in the feature bet365 Gold Cup, which has attracted a full field of twenty declarations.
Aintree and Scottish Grand National victories over the last fortnight have seen Mullins stretch his lead to £182,195 in the race for a first British trainers' title.
