Prolific Australian owners OTI Racing have confirmed the purchase of the formerly Aga Khan-owned Saganti and provided an update on Royal Ascot winner Docklands, in a statement published on their website.

A half-brother to Group 3 winner Sagamiyra, Saganti was successful over a mile at Compiegne as a juvenile, emulating sire Zarak. Whilst the three-year-old colt is yet to win this season, he posted a fair second on slow ground in the Listed Prix de Suresnes at Chantilly, before showing clear improvement up in trip to finish runner-up behind Delius in the Group 3 Prix du Lys (twelve furlongs) at Chantilly in mid-June. The grey will travel to Australia to be trained by duo Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr, with both the Group 2 Hill Stakes and Rosehill Gold Cup as possible targets at the Sydney Spring Carnival.

Formerly trained by Harry Eustace, Royal Ascot victor Docklands will join Saganti in Newmarket quarantine before starting a new career in Australia. Winner of the Britannia Stakes in 2023, the talented four-year-old colt has made the successful transition into Group company this season, finishing second behind Charyn in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes over a mile at Royal Ascot. He will be aimed at the Cox Plate.
