Jumping is the name of the game for Wednesday’s tips with both selections entered at Worcester…
Versace Twentyone makes her stable debut for Sheila Lewis in the two-mile FBC Manby Bowdler Mares' Open National Hunt Flat Race and can use point-to-point experience to her advantage. Whilst point-to-point results would leave some question marks about the mare's jumping (U0FU3F), the daughter of Kingston Hill made an eye-catching winning debut under rules for former trainer Gordon Elliott at Roscommon in July on good ground. She will face similar underfoot conditions at Worcester and her plentiful experience, along with Callum Pritchard's valuable conditional claim makes the 5/1 very appealing.
WIN – VERSACE TWENTYONE- 5/1
With some of the leading trainers dominating the top of the market, Ebony Warrior's current price of 8/1 remains attractive in the 2m4f Peter Dawson Forget-Me-Not Novices' Hurdle. David Killahena and Graeme Mcpherson's gelding returned after a 160-day break to finish a promising third over two miles at the course and followed up with a four length success in the same conditions at the end of July. The six-year-old will have to defy a penalty for that victory but his racing style suggests the step up in distance may spark further improvement. Jockey Kielan Woods has ridden Ebony Warrior on both hurdling starts and whilst he has been known to throw in a novicey error in the past, it's hard to argue that the gelding continues to progress with each experience.
WIN – EBONY WARRIOR – 8/1
