Wednesday's selections include a potentially smart newcomer for Godolphin...

Today's horse racing tips

The Godolphin-owned Warm Summer makes plenty of appeal in the Get Raceday Ready EBF "Newcomers" Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield (14:40) against warm favourite Cathedral. Whilst trainer Saeed bin Suroor may not get the firepower of old from Godolphin, he has achieved victories from a small crop of juveniles this season and this unraced filly has the opportunity to add another success to the tally. A daughter of first season sprinting sire Blue Point, Warm Summer is out of a Dubawi half-sister to Australian Group 1 victor Anamoe. The yard is operating at an impressive 40% strike rate (2-5) in the last fourteen days and the filly could be an exciting prospect.

WIN - WARM SUMMER - 4/1

Charlie Johnston's Dash Dizzy could be an each way player in the hot six furlong EBF Novice Stakes at Kempton Park (19:00) on his second racecourse start. The Wootton Bassett colt boasts an exceptional pedigree as a half-brother to the Group 1 winning Sioux Nation amongst other quality performers, with plenty of juvenile form on the page. He showed good early speed on debut at Pontefract over six furlongs, and simply weakened in the closing stages - perhaps showing his lack of experience against more professional rivals. The colt holds Group 1 entries later in the season and should come forward for his pleasing first-up performance.

EACH WAY - DASH DIZZY - 8/1
