Owners Valmont and Newsells Park Stud stumped up the £50,000 fee to add their Irish Oaks heroine You Got To Me to the St Leger Stakes at Doncaster. Ralph Beckett's filly finished runner-up to Content in the Yorkshire equivalent last month and will now stretch out beyond a mile and a half for the first time. You Got To Me was added to the market at 11/2 by bookmakers Paddy Power, while Aidan O'Brien's Illinois heading the betting as a general 13/8 shot.

Trainer Richard Hannon has elected to draw stumps with his star miler Rosallion for the remainder of the season. A runner-up to Notable Speech in the 2000 Guineas on his seasonal reappearance, Richard Hannon's charge went on to land the Irish equivalent before a sparkling display in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. The son of Blue Point missed the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood due to a respiratory infection and he will now be targeted at the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot next season.

William Haggas' Lake Forest could book his ticket to Australia if running well on his first outing over seven furlongs in the Betfred Park Stakes at Doncaster on Saturday. The No Nay Never colt, who missed an outing in the City of York Stakes when getting upset in the stalls, might be in line to contest the prestigious Golden Eagle later in the year, should he pass his upcoming seven-furlong assignment.

The Christopher Head-trained Ramatuelle will contest the Prix de la Foret prior to a trip to the Breeders' Cup at Del Mar in November. The top-class two-year-old has lost little in defeat this season, finishing third in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket before filling the same spot behind subsequent Group 1 scorers Porta Fortuna and Opera Singer in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
