The team return with two selections, one on the flat at Nottingham and one over jumps at Chepstow.

Today's horse racing tips

Sir Michael Stoute is represented by Wanderlust in the Goodbye For 2024 From Nottingham Racecourse Handicap (15:50) at Nottingham today and the three-year-old could make it a fairytale goodbye for the legendary handler.

She started life over 1m4f, but her pedigree would indicate that Sir Michael Stoute's filly ought to relish this further step up in trip. The daughter Waldgeist shaped nicely when staying on strongly through the line at Yarmouth last time out and with Richard Kingscote - the Stoute team's first-choice jockey – taking the ride for the first time a further plus, she has to be high on the shortlist.

The application of a first-time visor is also an interesting addition, and she looks to have every chance of sending Sir Michael Stoute away with a winner from a lowly unexposed mark.

WANDERLUST – WIN – 13/8

Kap Quest, who runs in the Spectra Group "National Hunt" Maiden Hurdle (12:50) at Chepstow today, was second only to impressive Cheltenham Grade 2 winner Valgrand last time out and is taken to go one better in this event.

Harry Fry's gelding posted a good effort in defeat on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter last time out despite seemingly doing plenty wrong. He pulled hard from flag fall and made jumping errors throughout, but despite this, he managed to remain within three lengths of a horse that received quotes of 25/1 for the Supreme Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The 4/7 on offer about Champion Bumper eighth Royal Infantry for the Skelton's seems all too skinny when considering that he hasn't taken a hurdle in public yet and with that in mind, the more experienced Kap Quest looks to be the one to oppose the favourite with.

KAP QUEST – WIN – 100/30
