Facing four other rivals, Neil Mulholland's Narragansett appeals in the 2m½f Rhino Bet Encourages Safer Gambling Juvenile Hurdle (12:45).

Originally trained by Andrew Slattery in Ireland, the three-year-old recorded a Curragh handicap victory over ten furlongs in late September before switching to new connections. He was given a spin on the flat in early November when finishing midfield at Nottingham and appears an interesting prospect switched to hurdles. By Inns Of Court, the gelding is the first of his siblings to try this sphere – which is little surprise, given his half-brother Justice Day (by Acclamation) was Group-placed over five furlongs.

Whilst the form figures for the Mulholland yard in the last fortnight make for disappointing reading (0-21), they achieved a good third at Ludlow on Tuesday, indicating fortunes are back on the rise.

WIN – NARRAGANSETT – 17/2

Both Olly Murphy and Dan Skelton are represented at the head of the market in the 2m½f Follow @Rhino.Bet On Instagram Open Maiden National Hunt Flat Race (15:23), with the Skelton's Kykorock fancied.

An easy winner of a Larkhill point-to-point for Francesca Poste in February, the gelding displayed a professional attitude, making steady headway throughout the 2m4f contest before extending for an eight-length victory. Out of a French-bred mare who placed on her sole start on the flat, the four-year-old appeals as an early bumper type and the current price of 10/3 seems fair.

The Skelton yard continue to achieve winners and appear to be hitting strong form again, with one success and two placings from their last four runners.

WIN – KYKOROCK – 10/3
