This G1 is the turn for the 2yo boys at Kyoto on Sunday
Like the fillies' race the previous Sunday it will be over 1600m so it will be interesting to see how the times compare.
There's a few that will lose their "unbeaten" tag post-race but there are several who are bringing that status to the race.
Arte Velooce is one of three Maurice offspring – unbeaten of course and has won over this trip and won well so that he is on 3.2 and current favourite, and Take rides. Not far behind him in the market is Museum Mile, a Leontes colt who has won his last two outings one of which was over 2000m so he should be OK with the shorter trip. Cristian Demuro rides.
The next three you could really take in any order: Total Clarity 8.6 is by Bago and is unbeaten in two outings to date – Kitamura rides; Nitomenodoshi is by Dee Majesty and may start shorter than his 8.9 quote as in one of his wins he broke the 1500m record and Ryan Moore will be on board; and Panja Tower, by Tower of London is on 9.3. He's also unbeaten and will be ridden by Matsuyama.
