This was run at Tokyo on Sunday 19th and proved an exciting race.
There was a huge battle over the closing stages between the eventual winner Cervinia and the unlucky runner-up Stellenbosch. Both are very nice horses. With Lemaire back on board Cervinia proved that the Oka Sho run was an aberration and showed her best form. Stellenbosch got caught in traffic coming up the rise but once in the clear ran on very well. She had also lost a shoe during the race which probably didn't help.
Light Back again provided her fast finish to come through the pack and take third with Queen's Walk only a neck away in fourth.
