NEW SOUTH WALES

SR 1: Expect the lightly raced (3) NOBBY SNIP to be well supported after two recent trials that have him well conditioned for this. He followed up a Randwick trial win in heavy going on 19 August with an excellent second to his top gun stablemate More Joyous when beaten only a long head in a 1020m heat at Rosehill on 30 August. Black Opal winner (1) YOU'RE CANNY was ordered to trial after his first-up failure at Canberra and was too classy for average rivals in a Queanbeyan trial win over 900m on 29 August.

SR 6-4 SHARED REFLECTIONS (Gai Waterhouse): The filly has not been missed by the Waterhouse stable with strong trials and work to have her ready for this first-up. She's done plenty on the track since her two Randwick trials last month when she won over 1050m on 5 August and then not extended when third in heavy going over 1067m on 19 August.

SR 7: Top class pair (1) DANLEIGH and (6) LOVE CONQUERS ALL have had the grounding in recent trials to be ready for this sprint first-up. Danleigh's improved fitness was evident in his second trial when he was too strong at the finish for his new stablemate (2) ALBERT THE FAT over 800m at Warwick Farm on 5 September. The class of Love Conquers All came to the fore at Rosehill on Tuesday when he was sharp enough to win his 900m heat in a good clean out for this assignment.

SR 8: Half of this field is resuming and most have been given conditioning trials. Efforts of note have been two strong placings by the good fresh performer (4) HOOD in heats at Randwick on 19 August and Warwick Farm on 5 September, an improved third by (9) SAMUI LAD behind More Joyous in his second trial at Rosehill on 30 August and two good trials at Warwick Farm from (14) DEFINITE CHOICE to finish third on 26 August and improving on that to win his 120m trial on 5 September.

VICTORIA

MR 6-5 KNEELING (John Thompson): Had a click up trial at Cranbourne over 1190m following her top win in the Crockett. Must be looking for the 1400m now.

MR 9-8 SISTER MADLY (John Sadler): Now in Melbourne, the brilliantly bred mare won a trial this month in the lead up to her first up run. She won on resumption in February at Randwick.

QUEENSLAND

BR 1-3 GOD'S WINDOW (Darren Bell): After having three runs this prep already including a win at Doomben, the 5yo won a Deagon Trial fairly comfortably a fortnight back. Look for him to run well.

BR 8-10 CAPTAIN CLAYTON (Robert Heathcote): From a very inform yard, he comes off a prep where he didn't win. But previous to that he won three from four. His trial at Doomben was enough to say all was well.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

AR 3-4 FURLINE (Phillip Stokes): Did her usual trial here recently but importantly goes well fresh so watch for any betting moves.

SA TRIALLERS RACING INTERSTATE:

MR 2-3 BUDRIGUEZ (David Jolly): Has been placed in a good trial at Gawler with a good 4yo Happy Trails the winner. Form through Red Colossus looks good now.
