BLACKBOOKERS & TRIALS
Our Blackbook service provides punters with a great way to keep tabs on horses to follow. Remember you can always click on a horse from the Racing And Sports Database to blackbook it or go straight to our Blackbook section and maintain your stable runners there.
We’ve identified a few here from the last week which we think can make us some money in the near future.
Blackbookers
Lightly raced son of Lonhro who has shown sharp progression in his three career starts to date most recently notching up back to back victories at Kilmore over 1450m. Having made his debut with a credible fourth behind Nautical he has proceeded to improve considerably at his following two starts having successfully made the rise from maiden company last time out. The time figures out of his latest victory at Kilmore were very strong and we expect him to only keep improving as he is tried over further. Likely to line up in the mid-weeks at his next outing, he is a galloper on an upward spiral and is one worth sticking with.
Progressive filly from the Jason Coyle stable who arguably should be unbeaten in her four career starts to date having finishing a narrow second on debut at Kembla Grange. Proceeding to salute the judge at her following three starts this daughter of Shaft proved very impressive in his latest performance at Randwick when making up good ground from the back to score with ease in the end. While many will argue she had the race put on a platter for her after Calming Influence went far too hard in front, however she was the only galloper to make up ground in the race with the first three round the turn filling the rest of the top four placings. The time figures out of the race were easily the strongest on the day and she is definitely a filly worth following in the future.

Dora 'N' Boots - Tuesday 26 November @ Rosehill
The full sister to Group 3 winning galloper Hidden Warrior, this daughter of Hidden Dragon quickly proved the apple didn't fall far from the tree following a very impressive trial win at Rosehill during the week. Bouncing out well from the outside stall she pressed forward to lead and once finding the fence she was never headed thereafter, working to the line solidly under her own steam. The time out of this trial was a real strong pointer for her performance as she successfully recorded the quickest time of the two-year-old heats and was only marginally slower than the open gallopers. Under the care of Chris Waller she appears a nice filly moving forward and can be followed with confidence at her first start.
Eligible Blackbookers Racing This Weekend
Some of the recent runners that have been Blackbooked by us are engaged this weekend and we think should be included in your punting thoughts.
Rosehill Race 5 - 12 Koroibete
Did a fine job to win here a fortnight back. Came from beyond midfield and rounded them up. Suspect the 1500m is just about his limit but he’s already won over that trip back in June. He will be peaking fitness wise as well. Must be a big chances.
Rosehill Race 6 - 14 White Sage
The mare has been short both times but while they weren’t betting propositions for most punters, this week she is. If she has any luck from the barrier in the first half of the race, she must be a strong hope. Being such a small horse, she won’t want to be cluttered away and the gate may actually help.
Rosehill Race 6 - 15 Terravista
From the same Festival Stakes, we’ve been on Terravista each time and he looks to get a charmed run up the inside. He should be able to take up a forward position without too many hassles. This is his moment of truth.
