The bet365 Pick 6 Challenge is back with $50,000 on offer.

There are two standalone meetings this Saturday with Kembla Grange and Cranbourne getting their chance to shine.

Leading bookmaker bet365 are putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Kembla Grange and Cranbourne cards with the Tattersall's Classic at Doomben thrown in there for good measure. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you an early jump.

Kembla Grange Race 7 - The Gong - 4.00pm

Group 2 winner Osipenko  (3) has had an interrupted prep and kept fresh for this. Solid run two back when third to MR BRIGHTSIDE in the G1 Makybe Diva over the 1600m at Flemington on September 16. Kept ticking over with a recent 900m trial at Rosehill on October 27. Gets the right run and looks hard to hold out. Group 1 placegetter Detonator Jack  (9) looks ready to win and undefeated over the mile. Strong through the line when third over 1800m at Rosehill in the Five Diamonds on November 11. At his top now and no excuses today with the blinkers added. Cepheus  (1) Multiple Group 2 winner racing in career best form. Carried the 62kg courageously when a gallant second over 1600m at Randwick in the Big Dance on November 7. Maps well again and can take a hand in the finish. Multiple Group 2 placegetter Waterford  (11) meets some of these better at the weights today and should get the right run from a soft gate. Has been costly this time in but don't underestimate.

Crabourne Race 8 - Apache Cat Classic - 4.20pm

Happy to side with Midwest  (3) fresh over 1000m. His first up run last time in he made Asfoora stretch to beat him at Caulfield and this is his pet trip. He'll likely land in front and will look the winner at some point. Jigsaw  (1) won this race last year, showing tremendous speed to run them ragged. Two runs back this time in have just been fair but he drops a long way in class, hence the 61kg. Top sprinter on his day, he should run very well. Rich Fortune  (6) resumed off a long spell and ran well in a Bm78 at Bendigo. She drops 4kg off that and strips much fitter. She's a G3 winner that must be respected. Taunting  (9) likes the 1000m and is racing well. Generation  (2) hasn't won in forever but isn't going badly and he'll bob up eventually.

Kembla Grange Race 8 - The Warra - 4.40pm

Insurrection  (8) progressive sprinter who strips fitter after working hard from the wide gate when resuming to finish fourth over 1100m at Randwick on November 7. Well drawn for this and will take plenty of holding out from the inside gate. Group 2 placegetter Dragonstone  (6) has a solid fresh record and will relish the fast tempo anticipated today. Last appeared when a sound third to BUENOS NOCHES in the G3 Show County Quality over 1200m at Randwick on August 19. Fitted with two trials and look for him motoring late. Group 3 winner Recommendation  (7) went out hard and stuck on well late when second over 1100m at Randwick on November 7. Fitter now and no surprise to see him ridden off the speed here. Group 3 placegetter Quick Tempo (10) returned in good order when stalked the speed for a gritty victory over this journey at Randwick on November 7. Undefeated this track and can sit off them and pounce late.

Doomben Race 7 - Tattersall's Classic - 4.48pm

Comrade Rosa  (1) drew wide and was beaten for early speed when resuming in the Listed Keith Noud Quality at this track but wound up nicely for a 1.7L fourth. Her overall record when second-up is sound, including a win and two minor placings. Draws lower so has winning claims. Extremist  (2) has returned in fine form, last time racing on pace and kicking on strongly to win the Keith Noud. Draws the same barrier and is yet to miss the placings here so must rate highly. Eagle Nest (5) heads north having led to win all three starts in NSW this time in. She can measure up again along with Ekaterina  (4) who has put two wins together at this venue.

Cranbourne Race 9 - Cranbourne Cup - 5.00pm

Just Folk  (2) can win his hometown cup. Two runs for the new stable have been very good, trying hard behind a well rated winner first up before a close up fourth at G2 level last time. Set to peak third up here and if any rain comes expect him to be very hard to beat. Ascension  (4) won the Ballarat Gold Nugget nicely two back before a good effort under 60kg in the Seymour Cup last start. Down in the weights here and should be at peak fitness. Foxy Cleopatra  (9) made good ground from back in the field first up at Flemington over 1400m. She's lightly raced, suited to this trip and will be hard to hold out. Here To Shock  (3) comes through some strong races. Fancy he's a touch better suited at 1400m but he's going to take some beating. Pounding (1) is better suited at the mile and his best would certainly go close.

Kembla Grange Race 10 - Benchmark 78 - 5.55pm

Contemporary  (17) has excellent third-up figures and indicated a win was imminent after finishing off strongly when second over 1200m at Rosehill on November 11. Should be able to race closer to the speed from the gate and take holding out. Crafty Eagle  (4) Resuming. Went through his grades well last time in and not far away at latest when second in the Grafton Gneas over 1600m on July 12. Fitted with two trials and has excellent fresh figures. Fall For Cindy  (11) is a distance specialist at her top now fifth-up. Chased hard when third to I'MINTOWIN over 1500m at Rosehill in this grade on November 4. Will need a good ride from the draw. Danaustar  (5) Maher/Eustace-trained gelding building a nice record in Victoria. Looks up to this after scoring a dominant on-speed win over 1203m at Kyneton on November 8. Expected to go forward again from the sticky gate and distance suits.
